How it Works

Why Flaxseed Oil?

Flaxseed oil is rich in Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA) — the primary omega-3 fatty acid naturally utilized by horses. Horses are able to convert ALA into longer-chain omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA, as needed by the body. This makes flaxseed oil a biologically appropriate and effective omega-3 source for equine nutrition.

Flaxseed oil also offers a clean, neutral taste, making it easier to feed consistently compared to fish oil, which many horses find unpalatable.
KEY INGREDIENTS & WHY THEY MATTER

• High in Omega-3, low in Omega-6
• Provides ALA, which horses convert to EPA and DHA as needed
• Clean, plant-based fat source
• 1,400 IU of real D-Alpha Vitamin E per ounce
• Highly palatable with no fishy taste
INSTRUCTIONS

• Feed 1–2 pumps daily, depending on the horse’s needs
• Horses with higher demands may receive 3–4 pumps daily

Equivalencies:
• 1 pump = 1 ounce
• 2 pumps = 2 ounces (1 full scoop)
• ½ scoop = 1 ounce

• 1 Gallon: 128 doses (1 oz per dose)
• ½ Gallon: 64 doses (1 oz per dose)

Due to supply availability, CEP Vitality includes a 2-ounce dispensing scoop for easy pouring.
